In 1978, Zeenat Aman married actor Sanjay Khan, who was already married to Zarine and had four children. Their relationship ended the following year, in 1979, when the marriage was annulled after Khan allegedly subjected Aman to physical violence. Later, she married actor Mazhar Khan in 1985, and they remained married till his death in 1998.
