Simhastha 2028: Senior IPS Officer Seeks Transfer Of Kshipra River's Origin To Forest Department, Calls For Removal Of Encroachments
Ahead of Simhastha 2028, Special DG Rajababu Singh has urged authorities to transfer the Kshipra River's origin at Ujjaini village in Indore district to the Forest Department. Following an inspection, he called for removing encroachments, undertaking dense plantation and creating buffer zones along the river to restore its perennial flow and protect its catchment area.
