Russia Exploits Ukraine’s Air-Defence Gap, Ballistic Missiles Punch Through Massive Barrage
Russia launched a major overnight attack on Ukraine involving 28 ballistic missiles, other missile types and more than 300 drones, with Kyiv’s published interception figures listing no ballistic missiles as destroyed. Ukraine’s Air Force said its forces destroyed or suppressed 293 aerial targets, including 289 drones and four Kalibr cruise missiles. Hits were recorded at 22 locations.
