‘Remove silt from lakes in southern suburbs of Chennai’
For many years, the residents of the Thiruneermalai region have been requesting the Water Resources Department to revamp the water channel, which drains water from the Thiruneermalai Periya Eri into a tributary of the Adyar River, along Chennai - Maduravoyal Bypass Road. The revamping of the canal will help to prevent flooding.
