Power Grid wins ₹199.55 Cr TBCB project in Maharashtra
Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has been declared the successful bidder for the "Establishment of 765kV GIS Pune West (District - Pune)" project on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis. The project involves establishing a new 765/400 kV GIS Sub-station and associated transmission lines in Maharashtra. POWERGRID secured this project with quoted Annual Transmission Charges of ₹199.55 Crore.
This marks the tenth TBCB project secured by POWERGRID in FY 2026-27, bringing the cumulative Annual Transmission Charges to ₹7,863.63 Crore.
