NGT Team Completes Kerwa Dam Survey In Bhopal, Report On 33 Alleged Encroachments Due October 29

An NGT-appointed committee completed a survey of Kerwa Dam in Bhopal, examining 33 previously identified alleged encroachments and 1,080 boundary markers. Using drones, satellite imagery and government records, officials verified the reservoir's 462.15-hectare submergence area. Findings will be submitted to the National Green Tribunal during its October 29 hearing.
