Nestle India has submitted a response to the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India regarding its product Lactogen Pro 1. The regulator requested scientific evidence for the claim related to whey protein being easy to digest. This follows FSSAI's broader actions against potentially misleading health claims by food manufacturers.
