Nashik Kumbh Mela Could Generate Rs 3,000 Crore Business, Create Over 1 Lakh Jobs Across Maharashtra
The Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Kumbh Mela could generate business worth Rs 2,000–3,000 crore or more and create over one lakh temporary jobs. CAIT chief Balakrishna Bhartia said the event could boost farmers, local traders, tourism and small businesses, urging the Maharashtra government to prioritise local products and provide financial support to vendors.
