MI5 is opening an AI threat centre, and OpenAI just told MPs the worst isn't over

MI5 chief Ken McCallum announced a new AI Threat Assessment Centre, naming bioweapons as his biggest fear. The same day, OpenAI told MPs it could not assure them the known AI safety incidents were the only ones, citing a 'handful' more.
