Meet Prem Kamasani: Indian-American teen proving discarded tennis balls can have a life beyond the court
Prem Kamasani, a high school student, started BallBack to recycle discarded tennis balls effectively. The organization provides collection bins to various sports facilities akin to schools and clubs. Volunteers collect the balls and partner with recycling organizations to repurpose or recycle them.
BallBack has expanded across 16 states with over 310 members working towards sustainability. A world-record attempt for recycling tennis balls is planned for the future.
