Maharashtra Plans Integrated Hostels To Break Caste Barriers, Says Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule

Maharashtra will establish integrated hostels for students from SC, ST, OBC, Maratha and other communities to promote social harmony. Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule directed collectors to submit land proposals by October 13. The hostels will accommodate 1,000 students at divisional centres and 500 at district centres, with separate plans for MahaJyoti hostels.
