Kashmir University orders stock verification of library books
Srinagar, Oct 18: Authorities at Kashmir University (KU) have directed all departments, research centres, campuses and directorates to undertake physical verification of library books and submit verified reports within two months. As per the fresh circular instructions, the departments and research centres have been asked to focus on scrutiny of missing books and losses involving high-value titles. The circular instructions in this regard have been issued by Librarian of the Allama Iqbal Library of the varsity on October 16, 2026.
