Kashmir expands floral tourism beyond spring

Srinagar, October 10 : The Department of Floriculture, Gardens and Parks in Jammu and Kashmir has generated a cumulative revenue of ₹62.76 crore over five reporting periods, from 2021–22 to November 2025, through entry tickets, permissions for videography and video shooting, and the sale of plant material, according to official figures. The department recorded revenue of ₹6.70 crore in 2021–22, ₹13.46 crore in 2022–23, ₹14.35 crore in 2023–24 and ₹23.71 crore in 2024–25. During the current financial year, 2025–26, revenue stood at ₹4.54 crore up to November 2025.
