Jammu & Kashmir High Court bans fuel-powered motorboats and jet skis on Dal Lake to curb pollution

Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court recently issued an order banning fuel-powered motorboats and jet skis on Dal Lake. Chief Justice Pushpendra Singh Bhati and Justice Rajesh Sekhri enforced the ban in response to a petition. The court directed relevant authorities to ensure compliance with this order promptly.

The banning of these vehicles aims to protect the ecological balance of the lake.
