Indian Air Force's big roadmap on drones and autonomous technology, message given to industries to increase indigenous defense capability

The Indian Air Force has shared the indigenous defense technology roadmap with industries to accelerate the development of drones and autonomous systems. At the event held in New Delhi, companies, startups and MSMEs were made aware of future military requirements. The Air Force laid emphasis on developing indigenous propulsion, autonomous software, robust navigation and standardized interfaces, so as to reduce dependence on foreign technology and strengthen self-reliant defense capability.
