IIT Kanpur launches $1-billion fundraising campaign

IIT Kanpur has started a significant fundraising campaign named 'Greater Than Us' to raise $1 billion by March 2029. The campaign aims to secure investments focused on Foundation, Talent, and Frontier developments at the institute. Notably, approximately Rs 4,155 crore in commitments has already been pledged.

A substantial portion of the funds will enhance research infrastructure and faculty accommodations on campus.
