Hill Kaka residents still without power as electrification work yet to begin: Mian Altaf

Poonch, Oct 8: Residents of Hill Kaka village in Poonch district continue to await electricity, with work on the proposed electrification project yet to begin despite funds having reportedly been released last year. Raising the issue, National Conference MP from Anantnag-Rajouri Mian Altaf Ahmad said he had taken up the matter with the Principal Secretary of the Power Development Department (PDD). According to Mian Altaf, the Principal Secretary assured him that work on the project would commence soon.
