Guwahati’s Himantaa Barbara Wins Silver, Bronze At Asian Masters Swimming Championship
Guwahati: Guwahati swimmer Himantaa Barbara won a silver medal in the 400m individual medley and a bronze medal in the 4x50m women’s medley relay while representing India in the women’s 40-44 age category at the 2nd Asian Masters Swimming Championship in Bengaluru. She also finished fifth in both the 200m freestyle and the 400m freestyle at the championship, which was held from October 4 to 10. Her podium finishes came in both an individual and a team event.
