GMCH to Shift Operations to MMCH Panbazar for Reconstruction
Guwahati: Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) will begin shifting its operations to Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) at Panbazar in Guwahati by November 15, Assam health minister Ashok Singhal said at a press conference on Saturday. The move will clear the way for repair and reconstruction work on the GMCH campus, and the minister wants the new facility to be running the very next day. “We are trying to shift GMCH operations there by November 15, and I want that by November 16, MMCH is operational.
