File doesn't reach judge in time, Supreme Court adjourns hearing on Punjab appeal

The Supreme Court has postponed the hearing on Punjab government's appeal concerning the CBI investigation into corruption allegations. Senior advocate Vikas Singh requested an interim order to prevent the CBI from taking any action based on the High Court's directive. Justice Dipankar Datta mentioned that the case file did not reach a judge in time for proper preparation.
