The future of education cannot be shaped merely by adding computers to classrooms or replacing textbooks with digital screens. Technology may transform the way knowledge is delivered, but the purpose of education must remain much larger: to develop thoughtful, capable and responsible citizens who can understand a changing world and contribute meaningfully to society. The traditional education system, built largely around memorisation and examinations, is under growing pressure to change.
