In one of the biggest liquor seizures in Kangra district, a joint team of the Excise and Taxation Department of Kangra and Hamirpur raided a house near the Bhikha Shah temple in Bhawarna on Saturday and recovered suspected illegal liquor, premium-brand labels, bottle caps and a machine allegedly used to reseal liquor bottles.
