BMC steps up checks as adulterated cheese returns to Bhubaneswar markets
Adulterated cheese (both chhena and paneer) has once again surfaced in the market as the festive season begins, prompting the food safety team to step up inspections on Thursday across Bhubaneswar. Checking was conducted in Khandagiri and CRP areas of the city. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) food safety team conducted an inspection at a sweet shop in Khandagiri following a complaint against the establishment.
