Amazon in talks to buy AI startup Decart for around $7 billion: Report
Amazon is reportedly in discussions to acquire Decart, a startup specializing in artificial intelligence, for around $7 billion. Decart's Lucy model offers real-time video editing, while its Oasis model simulates environments for robotics and autonomous systems. Previously, Decart was valued at nearly $4 billion in May and raised $300 million in funding led by Radical Ventures.
Reports indicate that Anthropic previously considered purchasing Decart but later decided against it.
